This European family owned a builder-grade north Phoenix kitchen but had an eye for European contemporary and wanted a decidedly sleek, modern space. The original corner pantry was removed to allow a more open space that included a lively 3D-tiled wall and European-styled custom cabinets. The cabinetry is a mix of silver, acrylic uppers, and rift-cut oak flat panel base cabinets. The major appliances were grouped together and flanked with custom pantry cabinets that house innovative storage pull-outs to maximize space. The center island was enlarged to provide additional space for cooking prep, as well as a casual eating spot.
