This hillside new-build enjoys an expansive WOW view of the valley, and it makes watching Arizona’s summer monsoons into a wine-sipping event! With sliding recessing windows and doors, the entire living and entertaining spaces on the interior and exterior are joined together so that large parties can be hosted easily. We were an integral part of the space planning process of this home; and provided full interior architectural construction documents, having collaborated with our clients to work through design details and help them select all of the materials and fixtures. This 5400 SF desert contemporary home has both private, calm spaces for reading and working and more dynamic open spaces for sharing time with family and friends. Taupe stained rift cut oak was mixed with dimensional paneling and unique tiles to make subtle textural statements.
